Mano a Mano to Host Citizenship Application Workshop April 18

Do you have any family members, co-workers, friends, or neighbors who are eligible to become a U.S. Citizen and just haven’t taken the final step? Mano a Mano is hosting an application workshop on Saturday, April 18 at which we will help community members prepare and submit their application for naturalization at no cost.  All they have to do is show up with their documents (see flyer)- no appointment is required!  The workshop will take place at Mano a Mano from 9am-12pm.
Mano a Mano is recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals to provide immigration legal services on site.  Our Engaged Citizens program is a part of the State of Illinois’ New Americans Initiative. In addition to application assistance, Mano a Mano also offers Citizenship exam preparation and English as a Second Language classes to further support community members as they prepare for naturalization.
Becoming a U.S. citizen is a great honor and opportunity- please help us spread the word so that more community members are able to take this important step!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Mano a Mano Outreach Coordinator, Jael Mejia at 847-201-1521.
